When using a transmitter with S-FHSS no additional receiver is required. If using a Spektrum transmitter an original DSMX (SPM9645) or DSM2 satellite receiver is required. We have not experienced successful binding and operation with any other original Spektrum satellite receivers. Currently the best available satellite replacement is the Kensun with a Binding Button. The Kensun is compatible with either DSMX or DSM2.

When using the Kensun satalite receiver the binding process differs from the instrustion manual. In the T15G app select DSMX; however, when initiatiaing the bind process hold the button down (do not touch the button one the T15 GRS) on the Kensun satelite receiver prior to connecting the battery to the T15. Once the battery is connected to the T15 the Kensun satelite receiver led will blink indicating ready to bind. Turn on the Spektrum transmitter while holding down the bind button. If you experence "bind failed" repeat the process and move the transmitter futher away from the T15.

The Kensun satelite receiver is an excelecent choice for other simular class size helicopters which require a DSMX satelite receiver or when using the Beastx Microbeast Flybarless unit on a 500 size or smaller model rc helicopter.

Setup and configuration is performed using the FREE App available in the Apple Store or Google Play. This allows the pilot to select a predefined flight style or to customize specific parameter settings to their own personal flight style.
