RADIO SETUP

Which receiver do I need?

Futaba S-FHSSNo extra receiver needed — the T15G talks S-FHSS directly.
Spektrum DSMX / DSM2Add a satellite: an original DSMX SPM9645 or DSM2 satellite. We haven’t had success binding any other original Spektrum satellites.
Best replacementRecommendedKensun satellite with a bind button — works with DSMX or DSM2.

Binding the Kensun satellite

This differs from the instruction manual:

  1. In the T15G app, select DSMX.
  2. Hold down the bind button on the Kensun satellite (don’t touch the button on the T15 GRS), then connect the battery to the T15.
  3. The Kensun LED blinks when it’s ready to bind.
  4. Turn on the Spektrum transmitter while holding down its bind button.

If you see “bind failed”, repeat the process and move the transmitter further away from the T15. The Kensun is also a great choice for other small helis that need a DSMX satellite, or for a BEASTX MICROBEAST on a 500-size or smaller model.
