My name is Danny Huckabay, and I have four kids and a wife of 14 years. We live in Georgetown Texas, just north of Austin. I have been flying for about eight years and have been with Team Align Enterprise Hobby for the past seven years. Outside of RC helicopters, I enjoy spending time with my family going off-roading in our SXSs, riding dirt bikes, woodworking, metalworking, bass fishing, RC Boating, and I love to cook as well as hosting RC Heli events! My home filed is Fly Apache Pass in Rockdale Texas, it is a private field; however, you can catch me at Central Texas Aero Modelers, or at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock. My favorite flying style is aggressive fast paced technical flight, with a little smack thrown in. I enjoy the stability of the big models and prefer Align T-REX 700 class model; however, do not enjoy the dent when I dump the helicopter, so I find myself flying the T-REX 550 and T-REX 500 often, and saving the T-REX 700 for "Good Days." I enjoy helping others so if you see me out flying and need help, don't be bashful as I'm always willing to help. I am one of the two who coordinate and host Helis Over Apache Pass (HOAP), held each year in Rockdale, Texas.
