CH-53 Marine Turbine buzzes the runway at Southwest Heli Rodeo 2016. The full scale CH-53 was absolutely amazing which included retractable landing gear, operating rear bay door, and full lights. The Southwest Heli Rodeo 2016 was a blast, we had fun hanging out with Ben Storick of Team Align. We had a killer time. Dave and I met a lot of new people and got to hang out with our other friends. We saw the top four XFC pilots, and it was awesome. I got to hang out with Ben Storick, aka The Gambler, and had a fun time hanging out at the field and at the hotel. I hope you guys liked it. Ben Storick rocks the New TREX 700X Dominator at Abilene Chopper Madness 2016. He survived the flying bugs while under the lights and smacking the TREX 700X around. He performs 12 point tic toc’s disk in and flips to do the same 12 point tic toc’s skids in, WOW!

After the storm blew thought Friday night (video to follow), Saturday was a beautiful day. We could not have ended Saturday's day of flying at Abilene Chopper Madness, any better than having Ben Storick rock it, to be followed by Kyle Dahl (Team Mikado) WOW! Kyle you nailed it, but did not eat as many bugs as Ben. Do not miss an opportunity to see Kyle Dahl fly in person. You will not be disappointed. Just wish I had the a video from earlier in the day of Kyle walking his Logo 700 down the runway.
